Martin Norén goes to Disneyland

Some time last August, Martin Norén left his house in Lund, southern Sweden, and got on Iceland Air flight 689 from Copenhagen to Orlando, Florida, where he was scheduled to take part in a conference for computer technicians. He missed this conference as he was ordered to stay in his seat as the other passengers disembarked upon landing in Florida. Mr. Norén, a thin quiet man with no particular political affiliations, had never been in any world hot spots nor had anything at all to do with areas of particular concern to the US border authorities, and therefore had no idea why he was asked to stay seated as the others left for their destinations. His Swedish passport and all travel documents were in order, but he alone was soon escorted from the plane and deposited into the hands of six armed guards who escorted him to an interrogation room.

There all of his documents were taken from him along with his belt and watch. He was bombarded for four hours with questions about his knowledge of Arabic (none), his affiliations with Al-Qaida (none), his religious beliefs (none), his reasons for his hatred of the US (none), and his reasons for wanting to go to Afghanistan (none). His repeated answer was that he was simply a computer technician from Lund and had no idea what they were asking about. Despite his complete inability to answer any of their questions, since none applied to him, he was then escorted to the Seminole State Prison in handcuffs and put into a filthy, cold cell. After six hours he was taken back to the plane and returned to Sweden.

Upon his return to Sweden he laid charges against unknown criminals and the Swedish police were able to trace his misadventures to a FBI website in which citizens are asked to denounce people they suspect to be Al Qaida terrorists or at least sympathizers. Mr. Norén’s father-in-law does not like him and therefore typed in Norén’s name on the website and the rest is history. So that’s how easy it is, as Mr. Norén put it, to think you are on your way to Disneyland and to end up in handcuffs in a cold dirty cell.

  2. How do you say “welcome to America” in Swedish?

  3. His reasons for his hatred of the US - He sure is talking shit about US in Nordic press and in German press.
The story is fiction and he likes “crying like a baby”.
The man sounds more like a “border liner person” and he is bursting to give his EGO satisfaction.

The amazing thing is that FBI has revealed an anonymous tip and the person behind the tip.
There are a lot of indications that gave the result of a tip about “most likely” a connected to AQ.

The man (MN) had several secret bank accounts, several secret email addresses. He was obsessed with playing war games as opponent to US marines. He participated in making a “terrorist” instruction film about shooting down a civilian air-plane with a rocket missile.
He was more eager to go to the US than taking care of his children when the mother to the children was sick. That’s the behaviour of a “terrorist”.

The “father-in law” is taking care of the grandchildren and is giving them a home (the home that MN left).

  5. According to the Swedish paper Aftonbladet, Martin Norén’s father-in-law was put on trial on Thursday January 17 in Lund, after having admitted that he had denounced Norén to the FBI in August 2006 as someone with contacts to al-Qaida, although there was no reason, other than personal animosity, to do so. Martin Norén, 40, was then seized as a terrorist when he landed in the USA. Norén’s father-in-law told the court: ” I didn’t think that they would seize him. After all the USA is the world’s biggest democracy.” The prosecution is a demanding a jail sentence because of grave slander.

  6. What the “Father in law actually said was, “I didn’t think that they would seize him without evidence. After all the USA is the world’s biggest democracy and there legal system should work”.
He also said that “The normal act on an anonymous tip is to investigate, find evidence and then take actions”
If FBI takes that kind of action they must have found some indication to act on. The old saying “where there is smoke there is a fire” must be the trigger.
The Swedish paper Aftonbladet is not telling a correct story, in fact it’s a one sided story and the “cry baby” is crying out the well rehearsed story over and over. In fact the story during the trial was spiced up with “I heard people being tortured with electric guns” and “I lost my job because Filemaker cancelled the technical support contract with Trigono because of the allegations”. Trigono is still the Swedish distributor, but the technical support is handled by Sykes. That switch was made by the simple reason that MN was not able to deliver satisfaction to the Filemaker customers.

The prosecution of “the father in law” was refused by the normal prosecutor and all of a sudden it became a matter for the Swedish secret police SÄPO and then handled by a prosecutor named Agnetha Hilding Qvarnström a special prosecutor normally only handling only secret cases, read about that woman on Wikipedia. Take a good think about here result on the Muslim hunt.
This type of handling is unheard of in Sweden and the case is unique and will probably go to the entire levels of courts in Sweden. The violation of Swedish fundamental and basic laws about people’s rights to opinions and freedom of speech is apparent.

The “father in law” is still taking care of the financial mess that MN left behind when leaving the daughter with 3 small children today 10, 5 and 2 years old. The departure was not of a good hearted will to leave without damaging the old relation. In fact MN did everything the wrong way leaving.

Stay tuned on upcoming events like
MN and his mother are pressing charges against the “father in laws” daughter claiming the mother was ill-treated by the daughter.

Aftonbladet has upcoming charges for slander and violating court rules. Should be interesting to read about.

AHQ has to answer on upcoming investigation from Parliamentary Ombudsmen - JO in Sweden. The Ombudsmen of Justice (JO) or the Parliamentary Ombudsmen to give them their official title are elected by the Swedish Riksdag (Parliament) to ensure that public authorities and their staff comply with the laws and other statutes governing their actions. The Ombudsmen exercise this supervision by evaluating and investigating complaints from the general public, by making inspections of the various authorities and by conducting other forms of inquiry that they initiate themselves.

If you want to put a face to the word “douchebag” put in the man that said this to the mother of a new born, the very first night of a new born. “You can stay here alone, my mother is all alone by here self I must go and keep here company” Guess Who!

  7. Hoping to put an end to this nonsense - the issue in the MacKenzie\’s original blog was the FBI\’s use of anonymous snitches to place someone on a terrorist watch list. This is not unlike the tactics of intelligence (sic) organizations like the E. German Stasi. Unchecked, it opens the door to all kinds of abuse to civil liberties as well as opportunities for personal attacks.

The comment that \”where there is smoke there must be fire\” is ample evidence of the nuttiness of the approach. WatchTower\’s comments sound an awful lot like someone with a personal connection to Mr. Noren\’s situation and a personal ax to grind. The issue for this blog is the tactics of the FBI not Mr. Noren\’s personal life.

  8. Deja Fu: The feeling that somehow, somewhere, you’ve been kicked in the head like this before.

  9. As a comment to Watchtower:

I personally know Martin, we went to school together for several years. Whatever you have written about Martin is false, and you obviously have not spent much time with him. instead it seems that you have spent more time with his psychotic father-in-law.

The father in law was scentenced by Swedish court for his actions towards Martin and I personally feel that he should have been sent to prison instead of having to pay a quite large amount of money.

The mother of Martin’s children is making life extremely miserable for both Martin and their children. Her father’s actions here is proof that the term “white trash” is justified when describing their behaviour.

As for Martin, he is now “persona non grata” in the US, he lost his job and had to deal with all the consequences for these utterly stupid people´s actions. If nothing else then this shows who really are the “douchebags” in this whole mess created by the father in law and his daughter.

Quit crying like a baby Watchtower, you are just cementing the stupidity of the father in law and his daughter.

  10. Amazing, that TheTroll has “such good” knowledge about person that you obviously never have meet. Take a good look in the mirror and you will se the real douche bag.
To my knowledge the father in law treated MN as a “soon in the house” until he and the daughter found out about his real two-faced narcissistic personality. There is only one person double-dealing here, and thats MN and his beloved Mother. There is no one missing MN, not even his children.
The father in law and all the family on the daughter’s side is helping out to give the children a stable upbringing, compensating for all the mess that MN created.
When you “The Troll” write about things that only have the “cry baby story” you sure are cementing your own stupidity. Get your facts straight before you comment things!!
