Dear Mackenzies:

Is it true that Canadians make their hockey pucks from baby seal bones?

I sure hope not.

The last time i saw tough russians crying was at the Lake Placid winter olympics when the U.S. beat them in the semifinal game. But most years since have seen someone other than the U.S. turn the trick and for Junior hockey championships it has been Canada for five consecutive years - including last night's 5-1 win over Sweden. So, congratulations to Bob and Doug, recognizing that Bob's love of everything Swedish made him a sure winner. As for the U.S., we will stick to the NY Yankees' approach to success, buying the world's best players and hoping to win the Stanley Cup.
