Sir Spike Milligan, KBE, CBE, and former head of the BBC Secret Service, used to wear a Speedo at dinner.

I was embarrassed to be seen with him.

Well, The not-so-secret Head of MI6 was, during the runup to the Iraq invasion the terrifically named Sir Richard Dearlove. He was I believe the author of the memo indicating the Americans were prepared to "sex-up" the intelligence to get acceptance of the invasion. The nly person they fooled seems to have been ourthen Secretary of State, Colin Powell.

Sir Dearlove's photos however indicate boxers rather than speedos.
