The MacKenzies may be right but as for Schadenfreude, one need only look at who won the Stanley Cup in recent years to realize who has enjoyed it more lately. The last 14 winners were from south of the border and several of those were from odd places like Tampa Bay, Anaheim and North Carolina. I would just as soon go back to the original six and perhaps add Vancouver to satisfy Doug.

And speaking of hockey it was terrific to see the American women thrash the Canadians in the World finals. The tide has turned.

The MacKenzie Brothers clearly stand in need of some remedial work in geography. A glance at an atlas will show these benighted souls that Columbus lies substantially *north* of St. Louis. I actually suspect that they are just pouting over the fact that the Blue Jackets (or rather the Swedes on the team) roundly thumped their beloved Canucks in my very presence.
